Coslada is a municipality of 81,860 inhabitants located in the Madrid Region, in the Henares Corridor, which has an area of 12.03 km².
The municipality forms an urban succession with San Fernando de Henares, at a crossroads at the northeast exit of Madrid, between the A-2, M-40 and M-45 highways.
Coslada is located a short distance from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport, the largest airport in Spain and one of the airports with the most air traffic in the world. It also has access by rail and by line 7 of the Madrid Metro.

El tipo de gravamen del Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles aplicable a los bienes de naturaleza
urbana queda fijado en el 0,4400 por 100 sobre el valor catastral, sin perjuicio de lo dispuesto en el punto 3º de este artículo segundo.
El tipo de gravamen del Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles aplicable a los bienes de naturaleza rústica queda fijado en el 0,50 por 100 sobre el valor catastral.
En uso de la facultad contemplada en el art. 72.4 del Real Decreto Legislativo 2/2004 se establecen, para los inmuebles de naturaleza urbana, excluidos los de uso residencial, tipos de gravamen incrementados según los diferentes usos establecidos en el RD 1020/1993 para la valoración de las construcciones. Dichos tipos sólo se aplicarán, como máximo, al 10 % de los inmuebles urbanos del término municipal que, para cada caso, tengan mayor valor catastral, a cuyo efecto se determina el correspondiente umbral de valor para cada uso, a partir del cual serán de aplicación los tipos incrementados.
Los tipos de gravamen incrementados que más adelante se señalan en función de sus respectivos usos, se aplicarán a todos los inmuebles que tengan igual o mayor valor catastral que el determinado en la tabla siguiente:
